Hump Day (but not)

Ah, the Wednesday after fall break. Fall break is done (so sorry!) so you should theoretically be well rested and excited about getting back to work (what a joke!), but wait! It’s a Wednesday, so you are faced with a serious case of humpdayitis along with a mild form of can’tconcentrateafterfallbreakosis.

We will try to help you get over both highly serious and highly contagious conditions, but it may be hard; they’re difficult to treat. As a prescription, we are announcing some oh-so-lovely events for you to check out (we mean it, really go and check them out).

After Smith:

Interested in grad school? The UK? Royal Holloway/University of London is coming to Smith for the day to talk about graduate programs and opportunities in the UK. Upperclasspeople, be sure not to miss this: you never know what another country could offer you. They will be at one of the information tables in the Campus Center (presumably downstairs) from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm on Wednesday. For more information about the school, click here.

Driving:

The SGA is hosting another van certification training session. This is the first class you have to go to (if you’ve already done that, don’t go to this one). If you want to drive your house or club around, be in CC 103/104 from 5-6 pm on Wednesday. For more information, click here.

Blood!

Sign-up to donate blood or volunteer at the upcoming blood drive, hosted by the Community Service Office. The blood drive will be October 19 and 20, but the sign-ups are from 12-1 pm at the information tables downstairs in the Campus Center. Someone will be there all week at this time.

That’s all I have for today! If you have any events you want to advertise, email us at smithstalker@gmail.com.

Also, did you do anything exciting over fall break? Share your stories or pictures (or both) with us and we’ll post them. Email us at smithstalker@gmail.com.
