Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

It’s the last day of family weekend!  Soon it’ll be time to say goodbye until Thanksgiving, except for you family-weekend orphans out there, who are probably happy that the love-fest is over.  In any case, here’s how to spend your Sunday:

  • Smith is hosting its annual Interfaith Family Weekend Service from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the Helen Hills Hills Chapel Sanctuary.  Everyone is welcome!

  • Feel like some two party love?  Go to the Family Weekend Bipartisan Tea, hosted by the Smith Democrats and Smith Republicans in the Carroll Room from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

  • Mrs. California is still running!  Catch it tonight from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm.  Tickets are $5 for students/seniors and $8 for everyone else.
  • If you missed it on Friday, watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in the Weinstein Auditorium at 1:30 pm.  Get your nerd on!

  • Watch “In the Chamber of the Harpers” performed by the group Trefoil with voices, lutes and harps.  You’ll find them 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Sage Hall Green Room or the Sweeney Concert Hall (we’re not sure why two locations are listed, but at least they’re in the same building!).
  • mum + sin fang bous: described as an “experimental Icelandic group” on the Jolt. Watch them from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm at the Iron Horse Music Hall.  Tickets are $22.50; get them here online.
  • Want to party now that your parents are gone?  Check out Exploding Tiger this Sunday (and every week) at Bishop’s Lounge (41 Strong Ave) from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am.  Learn more about them at their facebook page.
