T.G.I.F.

This week is finally over (it just seemed absurdly long).

A Capella

Have a need for some a capella in your life? Go to one of the fall jams today.

  • West Quad Story: The Vibes and Smiffenpoofs face off in their rendition of West Side Story, with On a Completely Different Notice. Be at Helen Hills Hills Chapel from 8:30-10:30 to see this epic battle of sounds.
  • Animal, Vegetable, Noteable: Go to the Noteable’s Fall Jam and CD release who will be joined by the MIT Logarithyms. It’ll be from 7-9 pm in the basement of Sage Hall.

Movie

It’s been a long week and all you want is a fluffy movie to watch. You’re in luck – Rec Council is showing The Ugly Truth with Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler in Weinstein Auditorium in Wright Hall at 7:30 pm.

Exhibition Launch

The Hiroshima/Nagasaki Atomic Bombs Exhibition launches tonight with a 30-minute documentary entitled “A Mother’s Prayer” calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons and world peace, shown through a Hiroshima mother’s perspective. It’s in CC 103/104 at 7:30.
